What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a form of physical/mechanical exfoliation that uses a specially designed surgical instrument and disposable blade to remove the top layer of dead skin. Dermaplaning is not a form of hair removal, however, vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz, does come off during the process.
Once the skin is properly prepped using Dermaplane Pro products, which your esthetician holds the skin taut and gently and safely scrapes the skin with the blade held at a 45-degree angle. This non-invasive treatment is great for all skin types and will leave you with an instant glow!
Regular dermaplaning can help with dull and dry skin, enlarged pores, softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and acne scars, and better product penetration. For best results, every 3-4 weeks is recommended with proper at-home care.
